Conne has practiced in the Human Factors and Ergonomics discipline for the past 22 years, working in the private, military, government and academic sectors in the United States plus collaborating on projects with the French, Japanese, Australians, and the British. Conne has been a guest editor, and recently joined the editorial board of the journal WORK and communication committee for IEA. She has authored journal articles and several books and also participated as a journal peer reviewer. She has served as president, chair, program chair, newsletter editor, member and board member for international, national and local civic and volunteer organizations. Originally from Colorado, Conne’s varied background includes mountain climbing; horseback riding; ski instructor; planning and zoning analyst; business entrepreneur; and teacher, both at the K-12 and community college level.
