WINDOWS PC INSTRUCTIONS
- This presentation contains the PowerPoint 2003 presentation
(BCPE Presentation) and 3 videos (.AVI). You MUST
download, install and run the presentation from
your C drive in order for the videos to play correctly.
This requires approximately 55 MB free on your C: drive.
- Also, you must have at least PowerPoint 2003 installed
on your computer. If you dont have PowerPoint 2003, you can
download the free player from the Microsoft site
at the following link (the link is current as of
4/18/05): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=428d5727-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en
- Create a folder named BCPE directly in your C: drive (C:\BCPE). Save each of the following files into this folder.
- To download all necessary files, right-click on the file and choose "Save Target As..."

- Go into the BCPE folder in your C: drive and click on BCPE_PRESENTATION.PPT to start the presentation.
- To play the video files on the appropriate slide, click on graphic or black rectangular box. You might need to wait a few seconds for them to come up. You can get them to play a second time by clicking on the black box again if you wish.
- If you want to skip a video or stop it early, just advance to the next slide.
- There are special effects (animations and sound effects) on a number of the slides which only appear in Show mode. If you go to a slide and nothing happens, press Page Down again and the effects will advance throughout the presentation.
- Presenters notes are included in the Powerpoint Notes. Consider printing them, or at least reading through them, before giving the presentation.
- For future reference, the AVI files are quarter screen (320x 240) format, and the Audio is in either 44Hz stereo or 22Hz mono.
